各学院、各直属教学单位： 为提升我校教师双语教学能力，提高运用英语开展专业课教学的方法和技能，积累国际合作进行科学研究的实践经验，在前期对各学院课程教学需求进行调研和中青年骨干教师英语培训的基础上，经研究，学校拟选派首批6—10名教师赴美国弗吉尼亚大学（UVA）参加短期培训。 一、培训时间： 二、培训内容与形式 UVA本期提供部分开放课程，每名教师可选听2门课程旁听，每门课程旁听人数不超过4人，旁听课程的确定，待到UVA后，由UVA根据教师的专业、教学背景，结合本科生课程情况安排。 培训内容采用前两周强化英语听说、跟班听课、课堂讲授和社会考察等形式进行。 三、推荐条件与数量 1.各单位推荐数量为1—2名； 2.要根据学院课程建设或学科建设实际需要，可参照本期UVA开放的课程目录（附件1）； 3.被推荐教师的英语听说读写能力要强； 4.参加本次短期培训的教师，可以视为所在学院国际化师资队伍的成员。学校将根据报名情况，决定是否举行英语选拔考试。 四、培训费用 1.学校支付：培训费、住宿费、美国当地电话费、互联网络费、基本电视节目费、90天医疗保险费以及7天外地考察的交通费、住宿费等，共约7万元人民币。 2.学院或学科建设经费支付：签证、徐州至上海的往返火车票和上海至华盛顿的往返机票（经济舱）等费用，共约2万元人民币。 3.个人（或使用科研项目经费）支付：90天的伙食费，约0.6万元人民币，以及长途电话费、收费电视节目、其他个人易耗生活用品等费用。 五、培训目标 1.返校后的一年内，应当能够开设“双语课程”； 2.返校后应当撰写并提交培训总结； 3.应当与弗吉尼亚大学相同或相近学科的专家建立友好关系，便于今后的合作研究。 请各单位于 教务处、 人事处 附件：1.UVA开放课程目录 2.双语教师培训报名表 附件1：UVA开放课程目录 一、工程/计算机/信息类基本课程设置 APMA 1110 Single Variable Calculus CHEM 1610 Chemistry for Engineers CHEM 1611 Chemistry for Engineers Lab ENGR 1620 Introduction to Engineering STS 1010 Lang.
